A major focus WHA is taking is to promote breastfeeding amongst working women.
  • If you are in the Auckland area and would like to make your workplace, breastfeeding friendly then contact louise@womens-health.org.nzÊ who can help you. Louise can also give a short presentation to you and your staff.
  • Check out the breastfeeding links page for other sites relating to breastfeeding and working.

 

Info for Mothers

A major focus WHA is taking is to promote breastfeeding amongst working women.

  • Are you pregnant and planning to breastfeed and return to work?
  • Are you a breastfeeding mother and planning to return to work?
  • Are you at work and a breastfeeding mother?
  • E-mail louise@womens-health.org.nzÊ and tell her your story, she wants to hear about supportive workplaces, those finding it difficult to accommodate breastfeeding and others tackling the issue for the first time.
  • She can advocate on your behalf or help you talk to your employer, give you a breastfeeding and work pamphlet and support you in your decision to breastfeed and work.

Childcare Centres
