Breastfeeding in the Workplace
The Breastfeeding Friendly Workplaces website is now live!
A major focus of Women's Health Action is promoting breastfeeding amongst women in employment. This involves employers providing breastfeeding friendly workplaces and mothers being well informed and supported.
Women's Health Action has created a dedicated website for breastfeeding friendly workplaces (www.bfw.org.nz). This site provides comprehensive information and resources for employers and employees about creating breastfeeding friendly workplaces. The Breastfeeding Friendly Workplaces website also allows organisations to register for and become audited for Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace Certification on-line.
