Northern Breastfeeding Network
The Northern Breastfeeding Network is coordinated by Women’s Health Action and is made up of a multi-sectorial group of individuals and representatives from different organisations who share a common interest in improving maternal and child health with a focus on breastfeeding protection, promotion and support.The network now has 94 members from the Waikato, wider Auckland region and Northland. It aims to strengthen collaboration, effective information sharing and strategic direction for breastfeeding action in the Northern Region.Meetings: Face-to-face meetings occur monthly in Auckland on the first Wednesday. Breastfeeding Advocacy Coalition Of Kirikiriroa (B.A.C.K)
BACK is coordinated by Te Rūnanga Ō Kirikiriroa and the Waikato District Health Board.

Taranaki Breastfeeding/ Whāngai U Coalition
The Taranaki Breastfeeding / Whāngai U Coalition encourages the promotion and full duration of breastfeeding in Taranaki communities, in line with Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation recommendations, through networking, coordinating resources, sharing knowledge and collaborative action.Meetings:Meetings are held every 2nd month and will usually last for one and a half hours. Meetings will be held more frequently, eg: monthly, when specific projects and/or events are being planned. Meetings are chaired by Mama Pepe Hauora (MPH) Programme Coordinator at Tui Ora. Breastfeeding Wairarapa
Breastfeeding Wairarapa’s aim is to promote, increase and maintain high breastfeeding rates for all and encourage greater public awareness and community engagement in supporting families to breastfeed for at least six months. This local network consists of representatives from Regional Public Health, Wairarapa DHB Maternity Services, Plunket, Whaiora, Parents Centre and an LMC. The group also organises the Big Latch On, Breast Friends mum-to-mum community breastfeeding drop-in centre and other health promotion initiatives.
Meetings:

Wellington Breastfeeding Network
The Wellington Breastfeeding Network group consists of health workers, Peer Counsellors and representatives from different organisations working to support breastfeeding in the Wellington region. The meetings provide an opportunity for networking and to share information and resources.

The Marlborough Breastfeeding Network is currently coordinated by Lactation consultants, Liz Nash and Jackie Martin.

The Canterbury Breastfeeding Network (CBN) is coordinated by the Canterbury Breastfeeding Advocacy Service. It is made up of a group of individuals and representatives from different organisations who share a common interest in breastfeeding protection, promotion and support.

The Central Otago & Wakatipu Breastfeeding Network is coordinated by WellSouth Primary Health Network. The group includes people who share a common interest in breastfeeding protection, promotion and support.Members include representatives from Plunket, Peer Supporters, Lactation consultants, Midwives.
