Kahu Taurima Big Latch On Whakatāne

Te Tohu o Te Ora o Ngāti Awa is thrilled to be hosting the Kahu Taurima ‘Big Latch On’ Whakatāne event and we can’t wait to share this incredible day with you.

When: Friday 12 of April 2024, 10.00am – 1.00pm.
Where: Kahu Taurima, Rehua Ariki Whare, 43 Domain Road Whakatāne. (Parking available next door at the Rugby Park entrance)

The Big Latch On event is an uplifting occasion celebrating feeding journeys of all kinds – breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and everything in between. It’s a time for parents to come together, connect, and share their experiences in a supportive and welcoming environment.

– Performances from our talented Health team, Te Korowai a Rehua Ariki.
– Loads of prizes and giveaways
– Receive education and support from our amazing Whakamanahia te Waiū – Breastfeeding Support Team
– Discover the wide range of services offered by our Kahu Taurima team, Te Tohu o te Ora o Ngāti Awa and EBOP Iwi Alliance partners.

We are also excited to have a professional photographer onsite to capture beautiful portraits of our māmā, pēpī and whānau.
