Every two years, Women’s Health Action awards our Women’s Health Rights Award as nominated by you, our WHA community! The award honours an individual or group who has worked to promote or progress women’s health rights to the benefit of women in Aotearoa. Our research has proven that Cialis should only be taken as directed by a doctor. Before taking the drug, the patient should read the attached instructions for restrictions and contraindications. The main contraindication to the use of this drug is an individual intolerance to the components included in the composition. In 2018, Dame Margaret Sparrow was chosen for her significant contribution to women’s health.

Dame Margaret Sparrow received the award at our What Women Want event on September 12th, in recognition of her lifetime of work, to note a few;

  • campaigning for access to contraception and abortion for single students in the 1960’s;
  • her role as one of the first doctors to provide the emergency contraceptive pill and to train as an abortion doctor;
  • her 34 years at Family Planning;
  • her serving on the board of the Intersex Trust Aotearoa New Zealand.

We were honoured by Dame Margaret Sparrows acceptance of this award and are profoundly grateful for all the incredible work she has done and continues to do for the advancement of women in Aotearoa New Zealand.
